The Dziekanka action
In 1987, during the opening of CCCHHALLOOO MAMOOM at Pracownia Dziekanka, Marek Kijewski sat on a motorbike and appeared to try to set off. Headlights were switched on and golden dust was dispersed around the motorbike and audience.
The retrospective’s title
The phrase “I’m All A-tremble When I Can Shower You With Gold”, associated with this action, became the title of the posthumous retrospective and its catalogue, published by CCA Ujazdowski Castle in 2008.
